Seona Reid’s professional career has spanned performing arts, heritage and arts funding and higher education, most recently serving as Director of The Glasgow School of Art (1999-2013) and Director of the Scottish Arts Council (1990-1999).
Having held many positions in public life, she is currently Chair of the National Theatre of Scotland, Chair of the British Council Scottish Advisory Committee, a Trustee of Tate, a Trustee of Edinburgh International Cultural Summit Foundation and recently served as Deputy Chair of the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Scotland’s Commissioner to the US-UK Fulbright Commission.
